2006 - 24-12-06 - Download two exclusive samples from the upcoming album... "The Black Hordes" and "Warcry of the Southern Lands". - 12-12-06 - Mor de Naere, vocalist of Walpurgisnacht, has agreed to help us out and is henceforth recruited as session vocalist. This enables us to do some gigs again for the introduction and promotion of the new album (TBR) "Cirith Gorgor", even though we have not found a new permanent vocalist yet. Although there is no definite release date yet, the album is expected to be released in early 2007. Uploaded a new sample of the upcoming album to our MySpace player. - 24-11-06 - New album cover... - 07-11-06 - The new album is nearly finished, at last. Because the initial mixed and mastered version did not yield a satisfactory end result it was decided to re-mix and re-master the album a couple of times, which is the main reason that it took such a long time. Track samples as well as the unveiling of the front cover will follow shortly so check back regularly. Updated biography. - 18-09-06 - On 29, 30 September, and 1 October, the vocals are finally going to be recorded and we will start mixing the album as well then. The vocals will be done by Levithmong, who convinced us of his sick vocal skills during guest (live) vocal performances with Enthroned some years ago. We came to this decision because we still have not been able to find a new vocalist, but want to get this fourth, and self-titled, album out asap. We still hope to release the album before the end of this year but also still urge interested vocalists to e-mail the band. We came across another 6 copies of the "Through Woods..." EP in our rehearsal place. One needs to be quick to get a hold of these very last copies. All instruments have been recorded and although the album still needs to be mixed and mastered, plus the vocals still have to be recorded, it is already evident that this is going to be Cirith Gorgor's best album, in every respect. Go to 'releases' for details to order your copy. - 25-04-06 - "Through Woods of Darkness and Evil" 7"EP is completely SOLD OUT! - 04-04-06 - After long and careful deliberation we have decided to part ways with long-time vocalist Nimroth. Necessary enthusiasm for newly composed material as well as motivation in general were, for some time already, simply not there anymore. The break-up came about in a friendly way, by mutual consent and understanding. We wish him all the best in his future life and with (other) band(s), and would like to thank him for the many great times in the past years. HAIL! The recording of the new album will still take place as was originally planned – at least the instrumental part of it. Erwin Hermsen will be responsible for the engineering and production of the album. - 04-01-06 - The release of the "Demonic Incarnation" split 7"EP with Mor Dagor has been delayed again because it appears that the pressing plant has not received the parcel that contained the masters and artwork. So there is still no definite release date... Hopefully more information can be given soon. In the past few months we have been working on new material and we are nearly ready to record a fourth devastating attack, which most likely will be done with Erwin Hermsen, who also produced the "Mystic Legends..." demo and the "Onwards..." album. If everything goes well the recordings of the new, still untitled, album will start in about 2-3 months from now. More details will follow shortly.
